We were packing up boxes ready for our move and came across these old toys. Amy and I had a good look through them before deciding that they would be ok to throw out. (No value on eBay unless complete, these unfortunately have small parts missing).
It’s strange opening up bags and seeing parts of my childhood. It’s like a time capsule. Amy enjoyed it a lot, it makes me sad we never got to see any of my dads stuff. When he went to Canada his family decided he was never coming back so re-distributed anything they deemed of value and threw out the rest. Now there is nothing left from before he was 30, a real shame.
On the plus side Amy and I got to geek out over my killer robots for a little while

It’s surprising what people will buy on eBay. My brother-in-law had old Transformers toys from the 80′s that have been played with but he’s still selling them for decent prices!
I know I will definitely be saving my son’s collection of Star Wars, Cars, and Transformers toys. My husband’s mom tossed out his Star Wars collection when they moved houses because she thought he wouldn’t want them anymore seeing how he was already 20 by then. She was wrong!!! We still mourn their loss.
Moving Chris, which bit of exotic South Yorkshire are you moving to?
@Hsien – Ah well, too late for ebay now!
@Jack – Just down the road, was meant to be Canada (a little further than down the road) but that is on hold now …
