It’s no secret now that Nick started a podcast, he has been operating under the radar for a little while but in the last few days a few people linked him making him public. He has a good voice for podcasting and it is the only podcast I have ever kept up with.
At the same time I have recently posted more over here. I will be blogging a lot more soon at DSLRBlog, but there are some jobs I need to do first. Thing is we made the decision to not post quite so much general stuff over at Performancing and concentrate on only blogging company topics. There is a huge amount of work involved in Perf and something had to go. But we can’t seem to stop blogging.I guess once a blogger always a blogger. It just leaks out of us.
It surprised me how much I love blogging. At one point I was posting several long articles to Performancing, thousands of words a day (and Performancing posts aren’t exactly “here is a link and what I think about it” variety). Even then I really got a kick out of it. It obviously brought the inevitable backlash, people do like to shoot you down. Didn’t bother me.
While I can post whatever I like to this blog it is really for friends and family. DSLRBlog is my photography hobby and I really don’t want to ever put too much effort into it because I think that would turn it from a hobby into something I have to do which might take the relaxation element away. I need a new blogging outlet but I’m not sure what topic and I don’t really want to start a new solo blog. Ideas on an e-card …

Learn a new web skill, and blog it.
Like RoR, or XUL/JUL for example..
That could work, just not sure I want to blog solo as can’t be sure how much free time will have
