This is to you Mr Andy Hagans, you have finally lost the plot, heh. I have a lot of love and respect in my heart for the Hagans but this time I think he left his brain idling with the brake off.

Can I hear a “well, d’uh”? Of course there is, it’s just like real life! Think everyone who walks around looking pretty has something to say? In fact most people don’t care about actual performance, they choose those who look and talk the part. The guru-like blogger and cartoonist, Scott Adams says it best
“… why do the tallest candidates with the best hair usually win elections?”
This is why you hire salespeople AND engineers, this is why you don’t hire the person with the best handshake; presentation and substance do not always go together in neat packages.

There is sometimes a huge disconnect between politicians who look the part but turn out to be jerks, there is sometimes a huge disconnect between people who talk a good game and actually can produce in business, brilliant advertising vs poor product, great publicity lousy movie … online just matches the real world, surely you have worked that out by now?
