My MacBook is trying to kill me

by Chris Garrett on July 4, 2007

Since last December I have been having persistent neck, upper back and head pains.

I think it is since I bought a MacBook.

Is my posture any different with the Mac than my old PC laptop? Probably not, but the Mac is much nicer so I tend to use it more.

Either that or it hates me and is trying to kill me off. I’m not ready to commit to one theory over the other just yet …

Laptops of any sort are a nightmare for people with RSI (and I doubt there are many computer pros over 35 without it to some degree or other). Dude, buy a desktop and a decent chair/table if you want to put the hours in.

I do have a desktop pc, but it’s a pc and I prefer the mac. I’m sat there now on my broken chair

Not to mention the razor sharp edges on the Macbook. I think mines trying to kill me and make it look like a suicide.

I hadn’t thought of that but you are right. Mine is also trying to give me serious burns, the underside super-heats for no apparent reason.
