For the first time in my IT career I finally used a mac for longer than an hour. Today we bought a Macbook.
It’s a strange new world. I really don’t have a clue what I am doing.
So far I have got web (downloaded Firefox), MSNIM, Skype, Flickr uploader, email (not keen on the email client) and Wifi working. I need to sort the wifi out though because it doesn’t like my WEP …
My most pleasant surprise was iPhoto, it detected my camera, launched and downloaded really nice and smooth, cool.
I need to get office and dev tools installed, setup apache, mysql and SVN … It’s all fun working this stuff out but it will be a while before I am productive on it!
