There has been some discussion about subdomains going missing from G serps. Apparently they were used a lot by SE spammers. DaveN says he is going to research the issue ..

.. I hope he does share his findings. My personal opinion is so far it is only certain topics/industries that are affected, in the SERPs I view I do not see much of a change. I think it would be pretty daft of G to do a blanket ban but since when has Google ever followed MY logic
