For the Soccer Fans

by Chris Garrett on November 15, 2008

I am not a fan of soccer, or what they call around these parts “football”. To me it is a boring game, not enough action or violence, but I know a lot of my friends and family do enjoy it for some bizarre reason, so here is something you might enjoy.

Best Ways To Watch Live Football Online

watching live football ONLINE has become the answer to most football fans’ prayers. The quality varies, and the speed of the live football stream depends on your internet connection, as well as the live football site’s own traffic. However, regardless of the quality, watching live football online is much better than missing the match, and if you have the right equipment, it can be just as good as watching on television.

Ustream.tv is another place to catch a footie game for free. It’s very hit or miss, but if you’re not picky about which game you want to watch, then it nay be for you. The stream of chats can become a sort of net pub. Grab a bitter and chat with the other blokes while you watch the game.

Me, I find the best way to watch football is with the volume down low enough that I can only hear when the crowds go wild (and I can watch the replay) AND with a good book between me and the TV.
To be honest, I don’t think I turned the TV on in 2008. I download a few movies and shows that we can’t get in France and watch on my PC, but I never turn on the TV.
