Firefox Will Not Load

by Chris Garrett on January 7, 2006

Firefox will not load for me today. I re-installed, disabled all extensions. Nada.

Bloody firefox.

I wouldn’t mind so much but

  1. It had grabbed the default browser and wouldn’t relinquish.
  2. I need to use Performancing for Firefox

Luckily being chuffing brilliant as I am I figured it out without needing the interweb or my more talented online contacts.

Go to start/run and enter %appdata% and delete the Mozilla folder

Seems something was messed up with my profile or something. Does mean though all my settings were nuked but ho hum at least I am back working!

Hello Chris…well I’m so glad I bookmarked you because once again stupid firefox is not loading…I clicked on the update for firefox 3 and then all the trouble started back over again……soooo now I’m gonna delete that Mozilla folder and see what happens.
Have a great week Chris
