Commodore Vic-20 Bill Shatner Ad – My childhood brought back to life

Aaaah the Commodore Vic-20, the object most responsible for me becoming a fully-fledged geek. The thing that kept me locked in my room programming while other kids were learning social skills (and sometimes other stuff like smoking and the like). And Bill Shatner, Captain Kirk himself – what a pairing! What an ad!

I started on a Vic20 as well – with the extra RAM cartridge and everything. Then grew up to a C64, C128, Amiga 1000, then off to Mac land… My dad still has the Vic20 through C128, and I’ve got the Amiga in my basement. Good times…

Cool :O)

We had the vic20, then sinclair spectrum 128, then atari-st until my first PC bought with my own money when I left school at 16. All those computers were given away so I have only memories left *sniff*
