Absolutely 100% the Canon 5D Mk2. You're from the north of England, try one out at The Flash Centre in Leeds - good blokes with great support

Yeah I got the MKII - I miss my 10-22mm too I always considered it the fun lens. Will be a while before I can justify and EF sized wide lens tho'. I figured one day I would also add a EF-S supporting body and get to use the 10-22 again.

Oh you got the 5d? Cool :) Recently my flashes have been gathering dust, and I only ever seem to use my crappy but convenient Sigma 18-200mm lens so it might do me good to actually get the gear bag out for an airing! I have had a good play with the 5d MkII as my mate Damian has one, but I do worry about letting my 10-22mm go to waste so might get the 60D and stay crop if it is announced as predicted in August. For quick memory snaps I still have the 350D or even iPhone ...

5D MKII Rocks - But its a big beastie and its a different experience that a entry level canon. You can't just "take it with you" on days out - you have to plan - back bags and a flash. Since I got mine I've also added a Lumix compact to use for casual shooting and the 5d is now for dedicated photo trips. - Oh and ontop of CF cards a big storage solution is needed 25MB RAW files soon take over every external drive!

Yeah I have a 16gb card and a bunch of 8s and 4s but my lenses were all bought for the smaller sensor, I don't have any "L" lenses so would have to be buying it with a nice lens to make up for that ...

The 5D Mark II is very nice. Make sure you get some nice fat CF cards and some good lenses on it too though to get the best out of it.
